Reading Task.
Choose one character in this story.
I've chosen a character from Dick King-Smith story called "The Sheep-Pig" - it is the pig Babe.
On the first times, at the farm, when farmer just bought him and took to the box he was "a little stupid" - as sheepdog Fly said. After he met sheepdog Fly his life and he changed alot. Babe perceives Fly as his mum.
With her help he learns that he can be anything that he wants to be. Next when Fly's young dogs leaved her, Babe and Fly is started to be a good friends. Babe realises that he has makings to become the greatest sheep pig of all time, and farmer knows that. After being on farm for a long time he starts to understand people. He is learning all about sheep-dog profession very very fast.
So mi idea is that at the beginning of the story Babe was "...a little pig who doesn't know his place in the world" and in the end of story he is the greatest pig. I think all the events led up Babe to this high - friendship with sheepdog Fly, meeting with sheep Ma and other sheeps in the farm. Of course, if farmer wouldn't buy pig - Babe would be a typical pig.
